Kareena does not want to be ‘Size Zero’ anymore

Size zero is out for actress Kareena Kapoor. In her next release, “Kambakht Ishq”, she plays a surgeon who moonlights as a supermodel and for it she has put on extra pounds.

“I weigh 54 kg now, which for a girl of my height is quite fine. People used to wonder what ’size zero’ is and I’d joke, ‘Just look at me’. I don’t want that any more. I want to look like a normal healthy girl. My forthcoming releases required me to get back to a fuller shape,” said Kareena, who sported size zero in “Tashan” and “Golmaal Returns”.

“In ‘Kambakht Ishq’, my character flies to Italy to become a supermodel to support herself financially. I didn’t want to play the character looking like an international model because she’s basically in another profession. So she can’t really have the figure of Victoria Beckham, can she? I had to look more filled up,” she told reporters.

In “Mr & Mrs Khanna” too, Kareena is sporting the same look.

“Again, for my next release ‘Mr & Mrs Khanna’ with Salman Khan, I play a wife. So I wanted to look more filled up. Not that wives can’t be curvaceous. The one I played in ‘Golmaal Returns’ certainly was,” she said.

Kareena to make an Ash

Kareena Kapoor is in all praise of Aishwarya. Yeah, it is surprising but true. Bebo never had a good relation with Bachchans or Aishwarya Rai even before she turned Bachchan. However, Kareena couldn’t help but praise Aishwarya in one aspect, i.e. post marriage career. Unlike many other actresses, Aishwarya did not end her career after marriage and continues to date to be in high demand and carries the ‘highest paid’ actress tag. Apart from the many prestigious projects she is currently in like Raavan and Edhiran she also got many other projects queued up like the one by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Hrithik.

This has inspired Kareena who is willing to continue her acting career even after getting married to Saif and for which Saif has no objections. Hope she succeeds.

Akshay Kumar has romanced his heroines everywhere and now he woos his heroine, Kareena Kapoor in Kambhaqt Ishq in an underwater sequence which has Bebo in a sexy bikini and Akki in shorts.

Set against large mountains, blue waters and frolicking marine life, Akshay Kumar will be seen romancing Kareena Kapoor in his latest flick, Kambhaqt Ishq . From Hollywood’s Universal Studios to a scenic village in Venice, the shooting locale for producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s film has now moved to Mumbai.

Although we had word that shooting at this location had started, neither the producer nor his cast was willing to say a word about anything. So we decided to investigate and found that once again Nadiadwala does not believe in doing anything in half measures.

A suburban swimming pool was first drained of all the water. Noted set designers, Acropolis were hired to create a replica of a Venetian lansdscape. While the mountains were made of acrylic, the coral for the coral reef was flown in from Venice. After the set was designed, water was poured back into the pool and a glass chamber was erected so that the film could be shot from there. To create an underwater effect, this costly set was put up.

Kareena is obviously wearing yet another bikini, and her look has been designed by Akki Narula. Akshay Kumar’s look has been done by Shabina Khan. The Khiladi will be wearing shorts for this shoot and has beefed himself up. Our sources say, “Akshay has been on a restricted diet for the last 40 days.”

Shooting at this site will continue till end of the week, which will also then wrap up shooting for the film. With a cameo from Sylvestor Stallone, Akshay Kumar’s death defying stunts and Kareena Kapoor’s sexy body in bikinis, Kambhaqt Ishq is certainly looking more than promising.
